We joined three other cruisers, all singlehanders, on a four-wheel-drive tour of Tahiti's mountainous interior. There were some adrenalin moments on the steep roads, and we had to turn around once where the road was washed out. Nina snapped this as the four guys looked at an ancient marae high in the hills. The other Jerry was a biologist on a trimaran. John was a Californian on "Maryanne II" and Jack sailed "Matelot" (French for sailor.)
